Best Pre-Workout?

What's the best pre-workout for CrossFit, or just fitness sport in general?

I remember the first time I decided I would try pre-workout before a CrossFit class. I don't remember much about the class, what or how I did. That is when I realized that not all pre-workouts are created equal.

What Should You Be Looking For?

Okay, first and Foremost, whether you are competing or just getting in your daily "sesh" at the box, it is important to note that about 10 seconds after 3-2-1 Go, your heart rate is going to sky rocket. If the canister in your hand at the sup store has several hundred mg's of "crunk blend"(ie caffeine) in it, you're going to hit the heart rate wall on the third burpee. We all know what that looks like, that's the dude (probably me), because it's always a dude (me again), doubled over with his hands on his knees or face down on the floor within 60 seconds of the workout starting. What happened? Bad pre-workout choice for one, and not as fit as I thought I was coming in at number two. There is absolutely no need for a stimulant heavy pre-workout for fitness sports in general, but especially not CrossFit. If your pre-workout is creating a jittery feeling, it is highly likely that it is also negatively impacting your workout ability from a cardiovascular perspective. That is why I like Metcon Start so much. It features naturally sourced vitamins, minerals and nutrients to fuel your body for the workout. With no artificial sweeteners, or colors it is also gluten free and paleo friendly. Metcon Start is safe for all sports with no banned substances. My Favorite Pre-Workout for CrossFit class or any fitness sport is Metcon Start. It has all the function without the feel.
